Gwinn Lions Activities

The Gwinn Lions and community members built planting boxes for the Gwinn Middle/Senior High School.  The boxes were built at the Pattersons Rooted in Faith garden.  They will be planted this fall with some items, and more in the spring.  Greenhouses are also being built.  The produce will go to the school food program, and also to the students.  This is all part of the Lions Hunger program.

Lion Steve Finley, Lion Mark Breit, Lion Peggy Lindeman, students and family all worked to install the boxes and fill them.  PID Jenny Ware joined the group.

The Gwinn Lions annual picnic also included inducting new member Jake Patterson and a Melvin Jones award to long-time member and Treasurer Marlene Breit.  Thanks to Governor Scott Kwarciany for doing the presentations, and PDG Jim Svinicki for his LCI report.
