September 14, 2024: Teaching Family Homes Golf Ball Drop
We are using the raffle to raise money for recreational programs throughout the year that the state doesn’t pay for.
Some of the details about Teaching Family Homes: We are a human service organization that operates residential treatment group homes for youth with behavioral difficulties and in-home programs for families where removal of the children is a possibility, giving them the parenting skills needed to achieve success. We’ve been operating since 1981 as the UP’s largest youth service agency, serving programs in 13 of the UP’s 15 counties.
The Lion’s Clubs of District 10 have been partnered with us for a very long time, from raising the money to help renovate our offices on the Sands Township campus to gardens, canoes, building our ropes course, and, lately, our recreational programming.
