LEO Garbage Pickup
Members of the Norway High School LEO Club recently joined the Norway Lions Club for a community cleanup as part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. Students volunteered their time to help pick up garbage along a designated stretch of highway, working together to keep the community clean and beautiful. Their efforts not only helped improve the appearance of the area, but also promoted the importance of environmental responsibility and teamwork.

The Norway Lions Club, together with members of the Norway LEO Club, proudly presented a donation this week to support Childhood Cancer initiatives. The contribution was made possible through a series of successful fundraisers, along with the continued generosity and support of the club and community.
Throughout the year, Lions and LEOs worked side by side at various events—ranging from food booths to community activities—to raise funds dedicated to helping children and families affected by cancer. Their efforts reflect the mission of Lions Clubs International, which prioritizes service, compassion, and meaningful impact.
Representatives from both clubs expressed their gratitude to the community for making the donation possible. They emphasized that supporting Childhood Cancer is a cause close to the hearts of Lions and LEOs alike, and the funds will assist an organization dedicated to providing care, resources, and hope to families navigating challenging diagnoses.
The Norway Lions Club extends its thanks to everyone who contributed, volunteered, or supported events throughout the year. Together, the club and community continue to make a difference—one project, one fundraiser, and one act of service at a time.
